The Botanical Dye Club, founded by Liz Chick, showcases her expertise in transforming everyday foods and flowers into natural fabric dyes. She created the Botanical Dye Club to share her distinctive techniques while offering convenient, pre-packaged boxes with all necessary supplies for at-home dyeing. Each kit contains carefully measured dried flowers, string, and comprehensive instructions that allow anyone to create beautifully dyed pieces at their convenience. Our team was commissioned to art direct the photoshoot, which took place in a Brooklyn warehouse. The collaborative atmosphere brought together diverse creative talents, making the project both productive and super fun. Following the shoot, we designed a zine featuring the step-by-step dyeing process illustrated with our film photography from the New York session.
