Figlia
We teamed up with our friends in NYC and shot these photos in their East Village apartment. We deliberately shot the photos with flash to symbolize a casual night in with friends. These images transform ordinary moments into something magnetic—elevating the seemingly mundane rituals of connection into visual stories buzzing with contemporary energy. The photography intentionally reframes everyday interactions through a lens that finds beauty in imperfection and vitality in simplicity. In a nod to Figlia’s ethos ‘for moments you want to remember,’ we wanted to juxtapose the more conservative reputation of non-alcoholic beverages with chaotic and playful type designs in our zine. Our zine's experimental letterforms and typographic compositions introduce an element of beautiful chaos. This tension between the captured moment and the disruptive typography mirrors Figlia's own mission: creating sophisticated non-alcoholic experiences that retain all the social electricity and none of the morning regrets. The resulting zine exists as both documentation and manifesto—a tangible artifact celebrating the paradox of carefully preserving life's most gloriously unplanned moments.
