The Green Ray
Our collaboration with The Green Ray was such a wonderful experience and we are so proud of the final result. This project challenged us to reimagine both the brand identity and digital presence for this Nashville treasure—a curated sanctuary where art books, literary magazines, artisanal cookbooks, small-batch pantry essentials, bespoke skincare, signature fragrances, and thoughtfully selected housewares converge in a luxury retail experience.
For the visual identity, we sought to capture a delicate balance: evoking the nostalgic warmth of well-loved literary classics while maintaining contemporary relevance. The resulting aesthetic pays homage to the tactile beauty of traditional letter stamps.
Given The Green Ray's extraordinarily diverse collection—each item a statement piece with its own vibrant palette—we deliberately positioned the website as a complementary element rather than a competing focal point. This clean, minimalist framework provides the perfect canvas, allowing each carefully selected product to command attention and tell its own distinctive story.
